[clear is humming pleasantly to himself and crouched beside a bush somewhere on the street, evidently very interested in something hidden in there.

also, a thunderstorm is happening. the downpour is nothing to sneeze at, of course, but isn't so severe or noticeable as the loud and booming thunder is.
