Trying to coax his brother out to have a drink with him before everything goes to shit is surprisingly easy. It's not as if they had anything to lose at this point, and might as well get some things off his chest.

"Whiskey, please."

Even if he didn't show, it wouldn't be a total loss.

And he very well could have just stood Henry up-- not like there's any lack of coolness to their relationship, anyway-- but something about it just didn't feel right. Like walking away from a challenge. (It doesn't ever strike him as odd, thinking about a drink with his brother in that way.)

Neatly sliding into the seat behind Henry, he absently mumbles for the bartender to get him the same.

"Well, we're here." Flatly. He can already tell this is going to be a blast.

A blast is right, brother dearest. He knows their interactions were always a little awkward when their swords weren't clashing, but he'd like to think they've grown a little in the past couple of years they haven't seen each other.

"That we are," he replies, just as flatly as he takes a sip of his drink. It has a nice burn and he pauses for a moment before continuing. "Did you ever wonder what we'd be up to in the next five years?"

He sure as hell hasn't, but it's a thought that just came up now.
