At least Kakyoin is rational enough for a stand user. By far, he's Caesar's favorite, because something about him reminds him of himself. because they're both gonna die The two of them are striding through the closest outdoor marketplace and shopping for medicine, and water. Even at his age Caesar's keeping up a steady pace, god save Kakyoin if he doesn't walk fast enough.

I'm afraid that he didn't--we might be a little on our own as far as that's concerned.
[God forbid Joseph be team dad for ten minutes. But it was nice to have someone else with a similar mindset of Getting Stuff Done and actually being responsible. Kakyoin didn't have any trouble keeping up, and actually very much appreciated the efficiency of the whole thing.]
